You voted for and passed nearly a 2 trillion dollar increase in the debt over the next 10 years
-
Tax policy does does not equate to spending. Tax policy is about maximizing productivity. Budgets are about deficits.

Holy shit my man. Did you forget about the atrocious, deficit-raising tax bill you voted for like 6 months ago?

The most important vote a Member casts is the first one every Congress. If they elect a bad Speaker, they will get bad bills. If they elect a Speaker dedicated to regular order, we stand a chance.

Remember when you added a trillion dollars to the debt
-
Remember when this post was about fighting government spending, the only reason we have debt in the first place?
-
Weird how we got all that debt from his vote then huh
-
I'm sure you think people that are paying off mortgages and car payments are only in debt because they're lazy and don't work enough then
-
Are those people complaining about how in debt they are after voluntarily cutting their income to make sure billionares can buy yachts
-
They're mostly just using common sense & spending less money because they've already spent much more than they could ever possibly pay off anytime soon
-
Almost like if they ever want to pay off the debt they shouldn’t slash their incomes wildly for no reason huh

I remember when following a TAX INCREASE, primarily on the uber rich, the federal budget was in surplus 4yrs running ( 1998,1999,2000,2001) the economy grew around 4% and millions of jobs were created. Then the GOP screwed that up so bad we had the worst recession in history.
-
You mean right in the middle of the http://dot.com bubble the feds had nothing to do with? And the using of federal retirement accounts to balance the books, never mind that.
