What about you ignoring the current treatment of the Federal Income Tax? It is an Indirect Excise Tax and if you're going to rail about constitutionality, start by announcing the truth about the tax. @LostHorizons1pic.twitter.com/e4csbaS4Te

What if the speaker wasn’t an elected member of the house? That’s allowed by Constitution. Why not break with tradition? If the speaker isn’t an elected representative, could that person be more accountable?

No, should be the same as anyone else, not more. But I’m all for an outside-of-Congress speaker.

Agreed! It would be interesting to have someone who can organize the House Of Representatives who doesn’t have to worry about their next election or getting kickbacks from lobbyists or other special interests.

Each successive congress doesn't have the guts to fulfill its duty. Republicans are fascists this point. President Obama required a AUMF for Syria. Republicans wouldn't vote on it. Where vacuums exist, it will be filled. Republicans have left cavitation.

Don't forget the courts. We've gotten so jaded by talking about which #SCOTUS Justices are Liberal and which are Conservative that we're surprised when Gosusch votes with "the Liberals." Why aren't we sirprised that 4 justices wanted to uphold an unconstitionally vague law?

Presidents ignore the Constitution because Congress ignores the Constitution. It passes legislation where it has zero Constitutional authority. The same goes for the federal courts. The whole damn federal government needs to be shutdown and ended forever. I want my freedom back.
