So the finalized version of what you were voting on (tax bill) was available for weeks? How often is a finalized bill presented with handwritten additions? My point is both bills didn’t live up to the standard of what citizens and officials should expect.
The final version, which was substantially similar to the prior versions, was available several days before the vote. There were no handwritten additions; I believe you’re thinking of an earlier Senate vote. The process was not good but nothing like the absurd omnibus process.
Speaking of absurd. What are your thoughts on American taxpayer dollars being spent on a wall? I feel many Americans were under the impression that the President promised that a border wall wouldn’t be funded by American tax dollars.
Our tax dollars should not fund it. The president promised that Mexico would pay for it.
