I predict @justinamash, who voted for tax cuts, will vote against spending increase and then blame everyone else for increased debt. That’s like taking a pay cut when you know your spouse plans to buy a new car and book several trips.

Greatly appreciate the conversation and your reply. My point is, I think it is wrong to cut taxes when the economy is doing well without reducing spending, or to increase spending if it is not paid for. I would vote no for both tax cut and spending increase without balance.
