Didn't you vote for the tax bill under similar circumstances?
-
The circumstances were not even close to similar. We all had time in the House to read and analyze the bill.
-
To be fair, did the democrats have any say in the crafting of the bill, or have any say on amendments to the bill?
-
No, and neither did the vast majority of Republicans.
-
Do you think not allowing any input or debates is not equivalent to ramming something through? What about the health care bill? Totally disingenuous for you to criticize a process you embrace when it suits you and your party.
-
My criticism of bad process has been consistent. The health care bill and tax bill processes were not nearly as bad but still quite bad (in different ways). Nobody in Congress cares more about process than I do. https://edition.cnn.com/2015/10/04/opinions/amash-house-gop-leadership-is-broken/index.html …

Can you post any comments you made on the process used by your party for those bills? Speaking on it in 2015 then remaining silent when your party uses bad process is useless to the people. If you don't object, and vote yes on bills put forth by bad process, you are endorsing it.

If you pull up stories from last year, you’ll see some of my comments. I’ve always called for a better, more nonpartisan process.
