A reminder that just last month, the Republican and Democratic establishments rammed through a reauthorization of unconstitutional, warrantless searches on American citizens—and the president signed it into law:https://twitter.com/justinamash/status/959279118616375296 …

Just three weeks ago, @SpeakerRyan @NancyPelosi @DevinNunes & @AdamSchiffCA teamed up to push a reauthorization of #FISA702 over my and others’ objections. The speaker gave a dramatic floor speech about the importance of giving the FBI power to violate everyone’s civil liberties.

And, for the most part, the media didn’t (and still don’t) care, because unconstitutional, warrantless searches on millions of innocent Americans isn’t nearly as exciting as partisan political drama.

I will admit I was unhappy with you for your vote on Health Care. But seeing you stand up and making the uninformed aware of this makes me proud to be your constituent. We need leaders to stand up on both sides. Thank you.

Nothing is free. We’ll (the middle class) have to pay for these cuts for the wealthy. Don’t bring up increases in the economy. That NEVER happens!

You are correct nothing is free. You are incorrectthat only the rich got the cuts. It is not irresponsible to let me keep my money. Government as a whole is financially irresponsible, morally corrupt, and way to involved in everything.

Republicans believe big government can work if only they get good people to run it. Rubio probably thinks he's good enough.

I wonder how loudly the Democrats will scream if Trump obtains thousands of FISA warrants to collect information about Pelosi, Schumer, Crooked Hillary, and the rest of the Democrat Party operatives, based on Fox News reports and anonymous informants.

Isn't going thru the FISA court getting a warrant even if it's secret to the suspect ? Still a system of checks and balances

When the secret court approves 97.93% of warrants? That doesn't look like checks and balances to me

Maybe not but could it be that the warrant requesting parties are actually doing a good job. We may never know until the FISA court comes out and explains how the process actually works

In 30 years they've approved nearly all warrant requests. Sorry but that sounds like "Approved" & "Next" I am sure if they used a regular Judge they wouldn't have near that amount.

That does make sense, but we may never know. Any warrant for any crime is usually secret so as to not inform the person being checked

If this Abuse of FISA Court was wrong, what does it say about all the others who've been prosecuted over last 30 years?
