I'm glad that the Republican memo has been released. It makes many conclusory assertions, some of which are serious.

But
#FISA702 is far more dangerous. It permits the FBI and other agencies to conduct unconstitutional, warrantless searches on millions of innocent Americans (whose communications were incidentally collected while targeting foreigners overseas).Show this thread -
If the speaker and others believe abuses are occurring in the execution of one section of FISA, then why would they insist on reauthorizing another section of FISA (702) that has far greater potential for abuse?

Congress now has an obligation to re-examine
#FISA702 and pass reform legislation like the#USARIGHTSAct to protect the rights of the people we represent.Show this thread

It's more than just that. It's about unlawfully unmasking of American citizens by a weaponized DOJ and Intel comm. , at the behest of the sitting President, in order to influence an oncoming administration's employees, and potentially cause them grievous harm. This is sick stuff.
-
The only who people who believe this are cultists desperate to hold onto their lie, just like their president who serves the Father of Lies. And you. Sad.
-
This is so stupid and ridiculous that it doesn't even deserve a response. But maybe a meme/GIF...pic.twitter.com/C2GolnWHzl
-
And here we have an example of cultist projecting their worst traits onto others. They take after their president in so many ways.

And that allegation is baseless. There’s no evidence the warrant was obtained fraudulently. This fact undermines the memo, as ultimately, pointless
-
It absolutely was obtained fraudulently. Steele himself admits that things contained within the dossier were UNCORROBORATED. What does that mean? That means that a president can send cronies to obtain FISA warrants to surveil members of an oncoming administration. This is crazed.
-
1)Warrant was based on other maters not in dossier; 2) some dossier matters corroborated; 3) evidence submitted to judge for granting to determine probable cause 4) PC is not a high standard 5) Where is the fraud?
-
1. Other matters, like what? Those should be disclosed to the public if they aren't classified. 2. Some Dossier matters NOT corroborated. Therefore, fruit of the poisonous tree. 3. The FISA court allows 99% of requests. That seem thorough? 4. The standard needs to be transparency
-
Other matters are classified, notice the warrant was not disclosed. GOP Congress renewed FISA process recently, like 2 weeks ago. Let’s not be hypocritical. You can’t say it’s poisonous tree without knowing all the evidence
-
Then let's get to my last point about TRANSPARENCY and see the warrant. No reason the American public shouldn't be told. I hope that is Trump's very next step. Release the warrant. But if the warrant was approved because of lies in the dossier, explaining needs to happen to us.
-
Have you demanded that he also release his tax returns and white house visitor logs for transparency?
-
Tax returns? Really? I could give a flying fuc* what his tax returns are like or what your tax returns are like - because TAXATION IS THEFT, and the IRS should be abolished, yesterday. White House visitor logs? Boy, you are really reaching into the depths of total pointlessness.

Where do you get any claim that the warrant was obtained “fraudulently “?? At most there’s an implication that evidence casting doubt on Steele’s credibility wasn’t presented, but we have no idea what other evidence supported the warrant. A long way from Fraud.
-
Except that Mcabe told the intel committee the Fisa Warrant would exist without the dossier
-
Well, except that other committee members say McCabe didn’t say that. Let’s hear from McCabe, I just want to hear the facts.
-
No lets hear from Tre Goudy the trustworthy person who read the Fisc application at the FBI
