The U.S. government is now more than $20 trillion in debt. We closed fiscal year 2017 with a $666 billion deficit—the second highest annual deficit of the last five years and a figure unheard of before the Obama stimulus. https://www.facebook.com/justinamash/posts/1672100376162695 …

In the coming weeks, it’s expected that both parties will vote to spend hundreds of billions of dollars more over the next two years, increasing spending by the largest amount since President Obama’s first term. These spending levels are unsustainable.

The success of this Congress in “building a safe, strong, and proud America” will depend not on how “well” Republicans and Democrats choose to overspend, but on whether they can resist the urge to do so.

And your vote on the tax bill that cut $1.5T revenue was, what, exactly?

There's not enough revenue or enough rich people to pay off 20 trillion in debt. The only way out of that is through cuts.

Wait so you voted for a bill that increases the deficit by $1.5T ? Obama needed deficit spending to stop the bottom from falling out. Economy doing great now, so what gives?

That is the total deficit accumulated over 10 years. Roughly the same amount Obama racked up in year 2.

Here is one idea. Stop letting the @POTUS spend so much of our tax dollars on vacation to his properties. Don’t preach about being fiscally conservative if you aren’t willing to put a check on its biggest spender.

So, increasing the debt via Tax Cuts is "all good", increasing the debt via spending is "all bad?".. interesting Yoga u have there... BOTH increase the debt = both bad.

I agree with cutting all this overspending especially a wall that can be pushed back/even eliminated. Now get to working with this useless congress and work for us not 45. I’m sick of him saying he’s your boss and you work for him. You work for me and I vote in your district
