Did you vote for the tax cuts that added at least $1.5 Trillion to the debt?

Tax cuts only "add" to the debt because Congress won't cut spending. If you're in big debt trouble, is the problem that your income is too low or that you maxed out all your credit cards?

We're talking about government debt though, which means there's actually a negative return (as with regular credit card debt, hence the comparison).

I don't know what the difference is between a GOP and Dem budget. No spending is ever actually cut no matter who is in power. Debt rose just as much under Obama as under Bush.

I’m sorry, didn’t you vote for the large tax break for the wealthy that will likely result in increased debt? Without a thought for reduced spending?

Are you kidding? 1. NOBODY advocates cutting spending like Amash. 2. Giving people back THEIR money doesn't add to the deficit. 3. What you claim as a "deficit" isnt really at all. It's Washington double speak for future potential revenue lost from stealing less of our

Spending never actually gets cut, while Amash’ vote to cut taxes for the rich does increase the deficit.

Sorry but your talking about burdening future generations is hollow since you voted for that "tax reform".
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

You recently voted for a tax bill that will dramatically expand the federal deficit for the sole purpose of enriching GOP campaign donors.
-
Just write the IRS and ask for your cut to be placed back into the coffers. Every little bit helps.

You're a Republican. You increased the debt to benefit the rich, and for votes. Stop trying to pretend differently.
#RepublicanTaxCuts -
The debt doubled under Obama and the rich got richer and the poor poorer. It’s not a party problem it’s a government problem. And it won’t get fixed until people put country ahead of party.
