The problem consists of staunch prohibitionists in your own party. Get a bipartisan group together to pass this.

Look at the cosponsors it's bipartisan
-
I'm not referring to co-sponsors, I mean getting to a floor vote. That's a problem.
-
I would expect the Democrats to be behind this one, especially if it is to attack Trump-proxy Sessions.
-
That's why I love that a republican congressman from one of the most conservative areas in the country is a co-sponsor. Way to go Justin!

He's a Rino.

You say that like it is s bad thing. Pro liberty / small government is something the R&D crowds abandoned long ago.

Hadn’t thought about it like that.

It took a constitutional amendment to prohibit alcohol. They broke they're own precedent. Besides, marijuana isn't dangerous. Thank you.
-
It is dangerous...to big pharma...
-
With all respect to the Honorable Garrett and Mash,
#BigPharma can suck it. I can take four pills a day that make me feel sick and can cause heart disease and death. Or I can have cannabis a couple of times a week, with far better results (and no death side effect). -
Thank you! You forgot sleep like a baby too. Some of the best nights sleep I’ve had has been CBD 5 minutes before bedtime
-
While having the ability to wake up the next day feeling refreshed instead of hung over like you do from alcohol and other prescription medications. Prescription sleep medication has caused how many traffic fatalities? There's really no reason why we shouldn't legalize nationally.

I'll probably offend many of those who follow me, but I would ask that you withhold judgement until you read my book to be published this year... This bill doesn't go far enough, but it is a start. No drug should ever be prohibited by a government. At least it's a start.
-
Constitutionally it’s illegal. Federal government has no authority to regulate drugs or PLANTS. Their powers are limited to war, peace, treaties and foreign commerce. EXTERNAL objects ONLY, not powers the states hold.

Any laws that conflict with the constitution are illegal, invalid and of no force too and must be repealed. Congress and senate are so out of sync, they don’t know what they’re doing anymore.

The only way jurisdiction applies to “interstate” is if it crosses state lines. If not, they have no jurisdiction. Not picking battles BTW

Enumerated powers?? That limits what the fed can do...not give them power to do anything else. My limited understanding
