Protect net neutrality, vote against the tax bill in reconciliation and protect the institution of the FBI. Represent your constituents or get voted out.

Lol! "Expand the federal government regulation of the internet, vote against tax cuts, and don't allow the FBI to be held accountable for their actions." Do you know who Amash is?
-
76% of Americans only have 1 option in ISP. They were given massive amounts of money by fed gov't to build out infrastructure. It's a Freedom of Speech issue:https://blog.united.vote/2017/12/06/net-neutrality-is-a-freedom-of-speech-issue-period/ …

Ridiculous argument. It's the same internet we've had since before they started this approach or regulating it as a utility. You're arguing to monopolize isps and to keep the cost and benefits, or competition, behind closed doors as a lobbying effort.
-
Definitely not arguing for more monopolizing. There's a long history of censorship from ISPs:pic.twitter.com/wk4a1tlgD3
-
Government control stifles innovation and creates a system where the corporations lobby bureaucrats and politicians, rather than competing for customers by offering higher quality or better prices. This move will benefit start-up ISPs and small online businesses.
-
Also, the FCC will continue to enforce consumer protections, like they have in the past. Any time the government takes over an industry, they ruin it and slow it down, or corrupt it completely. They end up picking winners and losers, and the big corporations benefit, not consumer

Let's hope you're right

Save net neutrality

In the letter Justin quotes, Jefferson wanted " restriction against monopolies" in the bill of rights.

What do you call a government that goes against the wishes of the majority of its population in enacting legislation and policy in favor of its corporate donors?
-
One that has expanded its definition of "the people" in an unhealthy direction.

Your parents wouldn’t have been welcome under this administration yet you and your party/caucus acts as a Trump lapdog. Mister deficit hawk voted yes the first chance he can to add 1.5 trillion in debt. Disgusting.
-
Lol! Now you guys care about debt? Where were you all for the last 8 years?
-
Its amazing that the party changes in the White House and suddenly both parties flip their stance on the debt. Reps no longer care and Dems suddenly care. Wish one of our "accepted" major political parties was fiscally responsible and budget conscious.

Most importantly it’s getting someone to stick to their promoted principles.
@justinamash claimed to be a staunch constitutionalist, refusing to vote yes on anything that increased the deficit. -
And frankly, I don’t understand why either of you are involving yourself in a tweet between a constituent and his representative.
-
Because it's a tweet on a public forum. Want privacy, send him a letter.
-
So you spend your day searching the twitter of Michigan reps? Sounds fun. Bye.
-
Nah, I like Amash, been following him for a while.
