Any agreement between Republican and Democratic leaders to lift spending caps is not a compromise; it’s collusion against the American people—especially our children and grandchildren.

Says the man who voted for a tax bill that raises the deficit by 1.3 trillion dollars. You abandoned your principled high ground for a pretty bad reason, Congressman. Can’t wait to hear your spin at the next town hall!

See, the difference is he's spent his whole career fighting for reducing government debt. He voted for a tax bill that would help his constituents and hurts the debt a little. So his report card of fighting the debt is still astronomicallly better than any Democrats.

I'm one of his constituents. The tax bill will hurt me, my family, and many of my neighbors. Stop peddling lies about us to suit your narrative.

As a single, unmarried man (who is hurt by taxes to fund strangers families and health insurance) — it helps me greatly. That’s the beauty of waiting until you are financially ready to start a family. You probably should’ve thought of that.

As a financially responsible, newly married man with no kids, I hope you are never diagnosed with cancer, only to have tax deductions for medical expenses disappear before your eyes.

I’m a writer kid, and as cliché as it sounds I made peace with a simple fact along time ago — I will probably get some terrible disease (rich or not) and go the path of Hemingway and Thompson. (though I probably won’t use a gun, don’t want to give gun grabbers more ammo)

We are never going to repay out debt ever. How do you not get this? All it takes is for one lender to realize this and it's dominos from there. Instead of pretending there's a political solution you should be warning your constituents to start slowly insulating from the USD.

Your hypocrisy is stunning. You’ve voted to increase national debt, make college less affordable, blocked 13M from getting healthcare, tax breaks for the wealthiest 1% and corporations, etc.
