As a constituent of yours in MI-03 (East Hills, GR) I strongly urge you to vote against the conciliation version of HR 1.
Are you gonna vote against the bill when it comes back to you, or just subtweet?
He's just gonna subtweet. He's a paper lion.
Remember when you used to complain about the debt then voted to increase it by $1+ trillion anyways?
And that’s with a dynamic score.
Ummm so you agree that your current political party is taking our democracy off a cliff in order to get tax cuts for the top 1%? Time to run as an independent and stop enabling the destruction of our country by being complicit.
Or he could grow some balls and vote no
Definitely the larger issue is growing balls to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. This is a big problem of his.
Justin Amash is a joke. For years he claimed to be different based on principles but just voted to add TRILLIONS to the deficit. Give us a break, Justin. You have no credibility. Nor does the @freedomcaucus
You’ve been oddly quiet about a fiscally irresponsible and procedurally catastrophic bill you voted for.
And you only tweet to make yourself look good, instead of using your power to do anything.
Yet you, who say it's bad to add to the national debt, voted this awful tax bill. And how will you vote on net neutrality? ? My next personal vote will be for your opponent.
Amash isn't a senator.
But he did vote yes on the House version. Just as bad in my opinion.
No, the House hasn't voted on this yet.
Um, they voted on their version last month.
"This" bill is different than "that" bill. "That" bill merely cleared the way for "this" bill to be written. "This" bill still has to go to the House for changes and a vote, before going back to the Senate for a final vote.
Anyway, none of that is the point. Amash is criticising the "process," not the bill itself. The process of bringing a bill to vote, which no one has read, is wrong. Full stop.
That is one thing we can agree on.
