In fairness, to what extent do we owe constitutional protection for non-Americans?

The suspect is a green card holder, a permanent resident alien. He is not ‘non-American’.

He is not American. He is a legal alien. Aliens hold allegiance to a foreign state. He is a citizen of a foreign state.

So you feel a legal resident of the US should be declared enemy combatant and tried in a made-up court rather than face justice?
-
Rach, Noooo. He needs to be tried & convicted in American court with American jurors. He’s still an alien w/ foreign allegiance.
-
