House votes Thu on Senate’s Big-Government Budget. Debt already $20T, yet budget authorizes hundreds of billions more in wasteful spending.

Big-Government Budget paves way for Congress to blow through spending caps, and it never balances. What happened to fiscal conservatism?

Conservative leaders would have slammed this Big-Government Budget under Pres. Obama. Now, they demand Republicans in Congress vote for it.

No, he doesn't do that (only on the occasions he agrees), he's voted down almost all spending bills. Amash is probably the best Rep in gov.

Rep. Amash is questioning efficacy of current spending; not only is there waste but govt action “to help people” can & does do the opposite.

Sanjay, should we continue to spend on boondoggles promoted by politically well-connected companies or cut spending on #CronyCapitalism?

Both this incoherent US budgetoid and (I suspect) the upcoming Tory/DUP budget will do A. You know what my answer would B.

If only the GOP were actually the party of fiscal restraint. Instead, it seems to be the party of unfunded tax cuts (for the rich).
