@CNNPolitics Let's be clear, American people are no longer being considered at all.

If we were, President Obama (won by 5 million votes) would've been able to appoint Garland.
-
Instead, President Trump (lost by 3 million votes) will be the one nominating a SCOTUS judge.

Should have hold Obama to higher standards. Allowing him to bomb 7 countries and overthrow Gaddafi without punishment was a game changer.
-
Most of Congress, Amash being an exception, never wanted to vote on a war. Obama asked Congress to approve Libya strikes.
-
He also approached them about action in Syria and GOP-controlled congress passed, taking no vote at all.

And you obviously remember when in Sept of 13 the previous President asked for precisely that regarding Syria . What happened there?
-
Nothing. Therefore, Obama should have done nothing. Instead, he followed the footsteps of W and commenced war in violation of his oath.
-
Dont misunderstand me I'm not looking for war in Syria but we've had a recent president request authority & he did not act unilaterally
-
Except that he did, with covert operations supplying the rebels--which included ISIS, by the way, an Article III definition of treason.
-
The old"Obama created ISIS "saw still doesn't cut.Ex Baathists cut out by Shia ruled Iraq created ISIS & arms came from Iraqi stockpiles
-
Iraqi stockpiles intentionally left in their paths...

@BarackObama tried to get Congress to debate Syria policy and GOP chose inaction. -
Inaction is the choice of Congress. Obama should have respected it. Instead, here we are.

But I thought Hillary was the crazy war hawk?
-
She is. The problem is not that Hillary was better. She wasn't. The problem is that Trump isn't better than Hillary.
-
Agree. Why is it hard for ppl to understand elections aren't always good option vs bad option. Often it's bad vs bad.
