I have read your takes, and it's comical that the Freedom Caucus is the scourge of the GOP for blocking what everyone thinks was a bad bill.

-
Removing Essential Health Benefits would have incentivized skimpy coverage and raised prices on sick people and pregnant women.
-
That's why we objected to (and never requested) that change in isolation. That change made us dislike the bill even more.
-
I never understood how other Title I changes made that better. And mandates like no annual or lifetime caps are important too.
-
Also, framework of the bill, with tax credits and pre-existing provisions, only exacerbated EHB issue. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/03/23/upshot/late-gop-proposal-could-mean-plans-that-cover-aromatherapy-but-not-chemotherapy.html?smid=tw-share&_r=1&referer=https://t.co/4fXwvMSKoX …pic.twitter.com/QzFyaOYjXh

that seems inaccurate. All reports said that caucus demanded harsher and harsher concessions.
-
Leadership associates (often anonymously) source those bogus reports.
@MEPFuller -
A core issue is you're still cutting $883 billion in taxes. That's a big hole in the insurance market.

If you didn’t like the GOP bill, why did you vote YES on AHCA on May 4? https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/politics/ahca-house-vote …

But that is the whole point here, right? I mean, what other purpose does the GOP serve?

We voted for President Trump to fix things. We won't vote you in to keep sabotaging him.

Please explain how partial repeal is cruel to poor when you voted for full repeal many times.
@MEPFuller -
The partial repeal wasn't cruel enough for them. Remember their idea is genocide of the poor. If it doesn't kill enough they vote no.
