1/ Like Pres. Obama's executive actions on immigration, Pres. Trump's executive order overreaches and undermines our constitutional system.
-
-
5/ We must do much more to properly vet refugees, but a blanket ban represents an extreme approach not consistent with our nation's values.
-
6/ While EO allows admittance of immigrants, nonimmigrants, and refugees "on a case-by-case basis," arbitrariness would violate Rule of Law.
-
7/ EO appears to be more about politics than safety. If concern is radicalism/terrorism, then what about Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and others?
-
8/ Finally, we can't effectively fight homegrown Islamic radicalism by perpetuating “us vs. them” mindset that terrorists use to recruit.
-
9/ We must ensure U.S. remains dedicated to Constitution, Rule of Law, and liberty. Capitalism creates prosperity and improves assimilation.

I served in the Navy next to those from other countries. They helped to defend our country....much more than citizens I knew.

Just settle down now. If they can be vetted, they'll be allowed in. Give the U.S. two minutes. Geez.
-
hogwash: refugees are being denied after 2 years of vetting, ppl are being denied even TRANSIT through US
-
Don't confuse the issue with facts and logic.
-
I know. Just because previous POTUS couldn't figure it out doesn't mean current POTUS can't fix it.
-
Hang on what was the problem? No attacks on US soil from refugees. Or Europe. Those were citizens
-
the problem is that fascists need an enemy, since things are pretty good in US, they make one
-
Unfortunately, America has many enemies. Thank GOD POTUS is brave enough to fix our vetting process.
-
There isn't anything wrong with our process. No attacks on US soil from refugees.
