The Constitution is glaringly silent on the question of burning the American flag. Do you have a different edition?

@learningwestciv@justinamash@benshapiro SCOTUS answered it for us in Texas vs Johnson. -
Once again -- Let's not confuse the constitution with the supreme court. Dredd Scott, Korematsu, abortion
-
.
@learningwestciv@justinamash@benshapiro The SCOTUS determines Constitutionality. A SCOTUS decision is, by definition, Constitutional. -
yeah.. who died and made the supreme court the boss on all things legal?

the Constitution never mentions flag burning. Arson is a crime, not speech.
-
What if it is your own flag? An image of the flag? The issue is speech (and the Court has spoken).
-
a flag isn't "yours", if you want to burn somethimg in protest, I suggest your own body. Win/win

@TOProject@Mathias1Jocelyn@justinamash If you purchase a US flag, it's yours to do with as you please.#privateproperty -
If you adopt a kid, you cant do what you want w it I bought a car, cant drive on sidewalk

What if a constitutional amendment supersedes the 1989 SCOTUS ruling (which was 5-4)? I think that's where he's going with this
-
everyone missed the point. You got trolled. you think he threw in the one year by accident https://www.congress.gov/bill/109th-congress/senate-bill/1911/cosponsors … ?pic.twitter.com/bkF8fO4LDA
-
Where did he mention a year?
-
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/803567993036754944 … meant one year jail sentence. I was out of characters.

Got it. Hers had a $100K fine, though, and his had citizenship forfeiture. Still, it's hilarious.
-
Hers dealt with inciting violence, terrorism or on foreign soil. Not speech related.
-
inciting violence and acts of terror already have laws in place. It's a power grab plain and simple.
