@LucyStag I agree it's not parallel, but it's instructive. Many "libertarians" make mistake of focusing on outcomes rather than principles. -
@justinamash Principles are key, ends matter more. But the Constitution should be used to hold up wars. It can't make them right. Careful. -
@LucyStag I'm a Hayekian libertarian. Liberty can't endure if the Rule of Law (in the Hayekian sense) is rejected. Ends never justify means. -
@justinamash See, when most people break out "rule of law" I saw laws need to be respectable before I respect them. (They're usually cons.)
