        @JohnAvlon Michigan's current system is simple majority, which makes collusion easier.

        Yes, that's worse. But independent commissions are best at removing collusion. 90% safe seats would receive super majority. @justinamash

        @JohnAvlon I'm not convinced an independent commission is less prone to collusion (or other malfeasance) than a legislative supermajority.

        @justinamash I think districts should form a polygon with no more than 8 straight sides. An allowance could be made for state borders.
