This is your 10th tweet about this bill, but you haven't tweeted ONCE about your vote TODAY to make the 2017 tax cuts permanent. Hypocrisy and cowardice. https://clerkpreview.house.gov/Votes/2018414

@justinamash is against absurd spending and absurd taxation. Sounds sensible not hypocritical or cowardly. Using government force to take people's income is surely more cowardly. -
Two days ago he was tweeting about "looming trillion dollar deficits" and today he votes to increase them. That is
#hypocrisy plain and simple. -
Plain and simple, that's ignorant analysis. Budget deficits, by their very definition, are a function of spending. Instead of the tax cuts you decry, we could double taxes on the richest Americans and still have a trillion dollar budget deficit. Focus on what matters.
-
Deficit = Revenue - Spending. When you vote for smaller revenue you vote for bigger deficits. I think the libertarian econ textbook must have misprinted that equation.
-
Lets fix that: when you vote for smaller revenue you vote for bigger deficits if and only if spending stays the same.
@justinamash has consistently voted to cut spending. Face it, when you broke out the hashtag#Hypocrisy you did so on a straw man argument. -
When you vote for a bill that cuts revenue but doesn't change spending, you vote to increase deficits. When you vote to increase deficits and then whine about deficits, that is hypocrisy.
-
I'm not sure what's so hard to get about this:
@justinamash HAS voted for many, many bills to cut spending. He has proposed others that haven't made it to a vote. His proposals and votes are a matter of public record. Do you need a link? - 8 more replies

And with little fanfare, Trump supporters are shown proof that Trump lies, and proof that he's just another big-government liberty-hating Neocon. He's playing Hungry Hungry Hippos, not 4D chess!

Trump will bankrupt us.
-
No, Congress will.
-
Who signs bills into law?
-
Besides, it's a silly argument you're trying to make. Rye presidents have been signing more expenses and bigger government since Hoover. It has to stop.
-
I agree with you. Our military budget is absurd. It is proportionally out of whack. Our “portfolio” must diversify.
-
While I do agree, the social security and welfare budgets are way out of proportion and larger than the military budget and all three need to be cut back and this debt needs to be managed.
-
Social security has never create a dollar of deficit spending or contributed to our $21 trillion debt at all. We have a dedicated tax and savings of $3 trillion. By law, SS can only spent what it has. OTOH military spending is out of control and has been for 20 years.
-
That's incredibly false. Congress takes from SS and fills it with borrowed money, thus contributing to the debt. Even now ss can't pay what it owes to us, further contributing to the debt each year. Spending needs to be cut by a minimum of 10% and maintained for ten years t...1/2

They never seem to have a problem reaching across the aisle when it comes to spending other people's money. Eliminate both parties and clean total house or it will never stop.

Amash takes shots at trump on a daily basis. He’s not a mainstream republican give him credit for being a leader and member of the liberty caucus. Yes I’d prefer him to have no more affiliation with the GOP but his actions are consistent with his values. Know your allies!
-
You mean little Twitter shots... cheap...

Uhm you mean the platform our President can’t break himself away from for 5 minutes?
