Fed. No. 69: The President of the United States would be liable to be impeached, tried, and, upon conviction of treason, bribery, or other high crimes or misdemeanors, removed from office; and would AFTERWARDS be liable to prosecution and punishment in the ordinary course of law.https://twitter.com/justinamash/status/1032758336373121024 …

Based on the deliberations of the Framers of the Constitution and Federalist No. 69, I believe that a sitting president should not be criminally prosecuted. Before facing ordinary criminal liability, he first would have to be impeached, tried, convicted, and removed from office.

Congressman....I consider you to be a credit to your district, your state, the Congress and our country. I hope that history properly fetes the handful of republicans that put country above party.

I agree in a sense, but his tweets have been honest and consistent. It's been the silence of the R politicians that's shaped the opinions and Trump support among voters. If the majority of the R pols had consistently spoken up (like Amash) Trump would have fairly limited support.

Odd. He votes party line pretty consistently. Despite his twitter outrage.

This GOP House has shown that it wouldn't impeach no matter what this president does and the GOP led Senate has shown even less courage and would never convict. So the issue is not indictment, but how a GOP led Congress has abdicated its role as a co-equal branch of govt.

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. If laws are broken, consequences are met. Just because a corrupt shit came to be the @POTUS it doesn’t apply? Okay, so impeach him first. What does the Constitution say we should do with a broke-dick legislative branch? If Congress won’t act, then what?

So what happens if Mueller is fired and the report is never issued? Or if the president pardons individuals for crimes related to Mueller's investigation. It's important for the public to know your thoughts on that as well. Thanks for the transparency!
