Many of the allegations against @POTUS are serious and should be taken seriously, especially by members of Congress.

Impeachment is equivalent to a grand jury indictment. If the House votes to impeach someone, that is not the same as a finding of guilt; it is merely a finding of probable cause that the accused has committed an impeachable offense.

Upon impeachment by the House, the Senate conducts a trial. Only here does the vote represent a finding of guilt. While there is reasonable disagreement about the proper burden of proof, I believe that a very high standard must be met to overturn the results of an election.

I hope that we don’t get to this point, but I think it’s important, given recent news, that members of Congress share their thoughts on this matter with the people they represent.

We are witnessing the attempt to over throw our government by a shadow government. We are in very, very, scary times.

Would never happen but for the
#USA to get a taste of its own medicine it serves to countries like#Nicaragua#Venezuela#Syria#Yemen would be a good learning experience for its citizens.

These investigations, essentially based on an opposition-funded fake dossier, were never anything other than an attempt to push into a corner as many Trump aides and family members as possible and shake them down until they can get close enough to Trump to try to take him down.

Are you out of your mind?! Collusion with Russians, paying off women to keep them quiet about his nastiness, his whole candidacy is should be repealed! The list goes on.

ZERO proof of any collusion. Only collusion was between, Obama, Clinton , FBI & DOJ to control the narrative & influence a free election. They never thought she would lose! She did Justice will follow soon.

Why do presidents have so much power? Power to pardon themselves, power to end FBI investigations, or not be indicted as a conspirator in a crime? This needs to change. If any part of the governmment should have more power over another, it’s the people. A referendum?
-
Because both Democrats and Republicans have spent many decades increasing the power of the executive branch, while the legislative branch continues to neglect its duties. Sometimes it may have been with good intentions, but the outcome is the same.
-
And all that corporate money rolling into DC. It seems to be that we are in a war between corporations, and anybody with any power has thrown the citizenry under the bus.
-
When the federal government has as much power as it does nowadays, there is a huge incentive for special interests to use their influence and power to get "the right person" in office. This is particularly the case as long as we have a duopoly running the show.

Substantially egregious like lying about a blowjob? Lots of time and money your party wasted on that. If a Democrat did 1/10 of what Trump has, he/she would have been strung up by the GOP already. We won't have fair elections in 2020 if he's still in office then. We'll be done.
