I'm trying to find more articles on the above idea that MI3 was split by the GOP legislature in order to "exact a little revenge on Justin Amash," but I'm not finding anything else. I find it hard to believe the MIGOP would be willing to potentially sacrifice a seat for 10 years.
If they did, voting results don't show much change from before the maps were redrawn to after considering you received 60% in 2010 and 53% in 2012 (pre-redrawing), then 58% in 2014 and 59% in 2016 (post-redrawing).
2012 was with the redrawn district. Maybe I’m getting better with age.
