Why aren't other Republicans as courageous as you?
-
Because, agree or disagree with him on policy, he's the only principled/non-partisan member of congress.
-
Don't forget about Thomas Massie
-
You're right. I shouldn't forget Massie. Right now my trust in the GOP is literally at an all-time low. I was a member of the GOP for 12 years total. Never been a registered Democrat. Every time a liberty-oriented movement springs up, the GOP co-opts it.
-
Exactly. GOP hates libertarians because we remind them of what they supposedly stand for. Come help us grow the
@LPNational -
I've thought about that quite a lot, actually. A lot of questions and concerns still cloud my mind.
-
If you have any questions about the LP ask me or other LP folks, we'll be happy to answer :) The LP is not perfect, but at least it's grounded by individual liberty principles rather than partisanship.
-
I'm a hawkish libertarian or a socially liberal republican. I find this mindset to be fairly common and growing. Could a hawkish libertarian candidate gain the support of the libertarian party?

We cheer for
@realDonaldTrump because he’s the only one in Washington who actually does anything! You all sit up there and pontificate and criticize while he’s doing the work. The economy didn’t just happen because of you or the Dems - it’s ALL because of him.#MAGA -
Is that a Harley in your profile pic? For shame! Trump hasn't done anything but sign a tax break that Congress put together, and roll back a few 11th hour Obama EOs. He spent his entire last week at a golf course.

@justinamash when a bill passes by a vote margin of 6.5/1 in favor, maybe you’re the one that’s wrong? -
Or not.... how dare Amash stick to his principles and his oath to the Constitution! Just because everyone else forgot their oath doesn't mean Amash should, too.
-
The vote was THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE TO FIFTY-FOUR. you honestly believe the 359 other senators have lost their principles to the Constitution? Or maybe Justin is only telling us the parts of the bill that he doesn’t like, and not the parts that are actually good.
-
Yes I do. There's a reason I don't like government because the majority of them are big government people who spend, spend, spend.
-
So, for the record, you’re against giving the troops a raise, giving more support to military spouses and families, helping the US become a global leader in AI and helping prevent further cyber attacks? Because this bill helps out all those things as well.
-
Then take out the other trash. Stop piling on the pork.
-
Now ask yourself, who put in those provisions? Maybe just get rid of those instead of trying to overhaul a democratically elected house.

Why are you calling out POTUS, why don’t you call out 359 of your colleagues?
