I've said this before and I'm serious. From PA but followed you for years. If you ever face a serious challenge (or better yet run for higher office) I'll take a vacay and drive to MI to volunteer for campaign. You're truly one of the most principled people we have in DC.

You’re going to have to do more than subtweet.
-
Perhaps a townhall or a press conference or an interview???
-
Justin Amash has always held regular townhall meetings located in every area of his district. I may disagree with Amash politically, even consider him an uncompromising ideologue, but he has always been accountable to his district. Every vote explained.
-
I also like the way he stays connected to the people he represents. As to his politics, one person's uncompromising ideologue is another's principled defender of liberty and vice versa.
-
Defending liberty is all very well, but it leaves little room for actual governance. Governing is the balancing of opposing interests, and requires the ability to compromise. Justin Amash seems to be unable to compromise.
-
Governing is at best a zero sum game, more often a dead-weight loss, balancing each person's loss against each person's gain. Amash prefers voluntary social interactions, including market exchange, which tend to be win-win, everyone gains. Governing least is governing best.pic.twitter.com/laqKorYPIM

what Thoreau said still is relevant, still stands......smaller government is always better, the gov. is not efficient, private enterprise almost always is more efficient, cheaper and does a better job.....less regulations (CFR) less red tape, always better
