You have my vote, again. Please keep calling balls and strikes fairly, no matter who is at the plate.

Does Michigan have open primaries? Because most places require you to run in the party you registered to be part of
-
We don’t have party registration, so it’s basically open.

You're right, the ballot had in big letters across the top to vote for one party. No cross party voting. Come on Matt, a little more research please.
-
I didn't write the article, and I used the word "funny" for a reason.
-
it comes across if you were saying that it was funny that
@justinamash didn't know. It was confusing (at least to me) what you meant.

People will always find a way to be upset or cause unrest about something. Crazy to think people are upset by the idea of less state and more liberty and would slander one of the greatest advocates of liberty we’ve had in Washington in years. Keep up the good work Justin!

@justinamash came here to say that. While I won’t likely vote for you, I do appreciate the work you’ve done and you don’t deserve to be mocked for something you’ve no control. -
Why not vote for him if you appreciate the work he is doing? It’s a serious crap shoot these days putting new people in Washington who we don’t know if they can be bought or will blindly put party before morality. We know justin won’t be. Not looking to spark debate, just curious
-
In absolute truth, I’m undecided. The woman he will be running against is an unknown, you’re correct. I’m looking to try and meet her and Justin before the election at a rally or townhall. That will help.

Justin, you could have filed as a Libertarian candidate. Shorter Justin Amash: vote for the party, not the person.

Yes, same thing in Illinois & Wisconsin. You can only vote for one party or your ballot is disqualified

You don't have to split ticket. As a self described libertarian you could have chosen a libertarian candidate for governor. You were not required to vote in the GOP primary either.

Guess you have to pick if you want to be a Republican or a Libertarian

They add an “update” to their story, which renders the entirety of it moot.

And just like that,
@justinamash schools Leo DeVito in Michigan voting rules...Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

So why not run as a Libertarian and not a Republican? Yes I know people are going to make more excuses for it yet again.
