A person can be in favor of improving relations with Russia, in favor of meeting with Putin, and still think something is not right here.

As a constituent, I think you owe me an answer to this question: Whose account of Russian election interference do you believe: Vladimir Putin, or American intelligence services? Don’t be vague. Answer the question.

American. That’s not exactly a difficult question, and it largely misses the point. Our main concern should be the president’s bizarre behavior with respect to Putin. We’ll have to see what Mueller finds, if anything.

Kevin, how fortunate you are that your elected rep actually cares enough to respond to his constituents. Wish I could get Ted Cruz to answer a phone call, tweet or snail mail. This is what leadership looks like! 😍

The point of the question is to encourage you to be clear about what you think about Trump's behavior toward Putin. "Bizarre" is a start, and I appreciate that, but I think you need to do a lot more. This is an emergency.

Trump asked Russia to hack the DNC during the primaries, that was “bizarre”. Now it’s been shown the Russia obliged him THAT DAY. Everything else is icing on the treason cake.

If trump truly doubted the IC assessment and all of the indictments then he should have cancelled the private meeting with Putin until he was sure of what happened. Instead he stood next to him today and sided with him over the US. That is aiding and abetting. That is treason!

Until then, it seems quit irresponsible to allow Trump to have access to national security secrets and nominate lifetime judges ... don't you think?

The ball is in Congress' court now. You don't get to pass it back to the traitor. You don't get to pass it to Mueller. You and your party hold the ball. It's time to act. It's all on you. You're powerful, You're Congress. Equal to him. Not subservient to him.

Spot on. The @GOP holds majority in Congress. The @GOP can end Trump's antics at any time they want. There is no logical reason for the enabling to continue, but here we are. Anyone that is not standing up to Trump is complicit in his behavior, period.

Agree. Also. From today going forward I will expect to hear every single DEM running this fall to say the words "traitor and treason" often. I want to see those words about trump on their websites. I want to hear it on TV. If not they don't get my vote.

Mueller is driving a legal process which takes a long time. This is a national security emergency. You owe it to us to find out why the president has completely prostrated himself to an adversary like this. Now. Not after Bob Mueller gives you political cover to do so.

How can you say “if anything” abt the Mueller investigation? Have you read the newspaper? Seen or heard testimonies (which are not being released in some cases)? Learned about all of the indictments and guilty pleas? ...”if anything” is shockingly dismissive.

Do indictments = guilt in your view? Why do we bother with trials, juries and defense cross-examinations if that's the case? And does it matter to you that the guilty pleas have all been on "process violations," NOT admission of election-tampering? No pre-existing bias, huh?

It seems to be a difficult question for many other GOP Congresspeople and Senators, Rep. Amash. In fact, they are openly attacking the Mueller probe and covering for Trump. I encourage you to convince them to do their Constitutional duty and defend our nation instead.
