I preface this by saying I love the NBA. But this has been the worst season in recent memory. No one really gave a shit about seeding so load managing was high and effort mixed. Then the playoffs come & immediately 5 of the top 20 players get hurt in the 1st round. Just a bummer

Quinta is a WGA member! She has nothing to do with our pay. We are paid by the studios and I have seen her use her power as the star of the show to push for our writers to get the best deal possible. This labor action is about the studios eroding all writers pay.

I’ve been thinking about this writers strike and something I’ve realized is that a lot of people think writers are rich. Some writers are rich, MOST writers are not. It’s like contract work, especially as you’re working your way up. With short seasons, mini rooms, etc— it’s hard.
