This is a basically left-wing foreign policy group celebrating the serious victories just won by to limit the President's power to use military force without Congressional approval. This was possible only due to the concessions won by the McCarthy holdouts:

Could the GOP revolt actually help #EndEndlessWar? This thread shows how key anti-McCarthy GOP members often join left-wing Dems to oppose war. In 2018, Speaker Ryan blocked a Yemen vote. More @FreedomCaucus on @RulesReps may prevent moves like that. washingtonexaminer.com/news/congress/

I call on @POTUS Biden to take more steps to protect the #HumanRights of the #Venezuelan people including full implementation of the $3 billion Special Fund, naming a new special envoy & increasing humanitarian aid. This is a moment of opportunity that must not be wasted!

If you want to get an idea of how Peru's Congress is utterly failing to meet this critical moment, consider this; head of congressional foreign affairs committee now demanding Peru invade Bolivia and seize its natural resources in retaliation for its support of "terrorists".
Quote Tweet

Another e.g. of how self-defeating the US sanctions meant to exude toughness actually are: the WH asked a firm to help Iranians get past government censorship, but they couldn't because of US sanctions. What happens when you put posturing ahead of outcomes

Harvard should still make explicit that it will respect academic freedom even for less-visible critics of Israel. The danger isn't for me but for scholars and students who face possible retaliation without the ability to attract public attention.

Important pushback here from on this idea gaining currency that it's costing the US nothing to use the Ukraine war to weaken Russia, pointing out that some of its big costs - like the resulting climate backsliding - don't show up in dollar terms.

Not only does the overuse of #sanctions weaken their intended #ForeignPolicy impact, but also devastates innocent civilians and undermines #NGO-led #peacebuilding, #humanitarian, and #development programs. It's time for a rethink.

Today we honor MLK, a man of extraordinary courage. Not only did he help lead the fight against racism, he vigorously opposed the Vietnam War, stood with workers & their unions & challenged the massive income & wealth inequality that he saw. He remains an inspiration to us all.

In 2021, there was a 339% increase in anti Asian hate crimes. I'm deeply concerned about this new committee on China—especially in light of the reckless and prejudiced rhetoric the GOP spouted throughout the pandemic which fueled this rise in hatred.

Important to know that there’s nothing like a consensus about China in the Democratic Party. There’s a hawk-imposed narrative based on MAGA and neocons aligning, the latter of whom exist in both parties so gives a bipartisan sheen
