"I do not possess the skills or instincts necessary to work in food service" it's easier than you'd think. the hard part is showing up every day and not killing a customer.

What you're basically saying is, you acknowledge that cooking and preparing burgers is a job, but one where everyone who holds that job deserve to live in poverty. Is that what you mean?

You do realize that in order for you to be able to enjoy a burger on a weekday before 3 pm, some adult has to make it for you right? Does that adult have to be impoverished and work 1 or 2 extra jobs on the side to make rent?

Why is the adult still working in the lowest possible position at a fast food place? It is called “entry level” on purpose, it’s where you start and practice. It’s a child’s starter job that requires 0 skill. Most people develop, learn something, and move on with their life.
