This seemed like a pretty clear cut case of poor leadership. Bringing back a leader who clearly created a toxic culture seems like another example of poor leadership. Just because your intentions are well-meaning (you want the company to succeed)... 1/2

...doesn’t exonerate you from grinding your people to a pulp. There’s also an unstated fact here: she demonstrated an “owner’s mentality,” working all hours, etc. but as CEO she’s incentivized and paid to do just that. 2/2
