I have four parents, all over the age of 75. Randomly, three of them, in two different cities, got their first dose of COVID vaccine today. My father who has NOT received a vaccine is my parent at highest risk. He is incarcerated.

This is very sad. People incarcerated are still human beings and it is unfortunate that the rates of covid are high in prisons.

He’s incarcerated! He did something to get there. Sorry, I don’t feel like his placement on the list is higher than my 86 year old aunt who is our family’s surviving Matriarch.

I didn’t say that people whom are incarcerated deserve vaccinations before high risk people whom are not. I am simply saying people whom are incarcerated should be vaccinated as well. They live in close proximity to one another already in unsanitary conditions
