Kay-B: (didn’t leave BGN today but left recently) Great writer, excellent on-camera interviewer. Hire her for hosting opportunities!

I've not been apart of the BGN organization for about 6 weeks now, but the experiences & relationships I've developed are invaluable. My hope is that all of the talented & valuable BGN writers find new homes and creative outlets. Love to you all, I'm always here.

I will continue to work with this beautiful community. I will continue to lift us up in every way that I can. But I won't do it with BGN. [6/6]

Leaving BGN last month was a hard decision I had to make that took months for me to come to grips with and like most things with me I kept it close to my chest, telling only those who needed to know. Because really...who cares about what I do?

Today was my last day with BGN. I've had a lot of good times, some wonderful opportunities, and forged friendships with the most amazing and talented people over these last 2 years and for that I'm forever grateful.

Just a tweet that today was my last day as TV Editor with BGN. I've been a writer or editor in some capacity since 2014. I had nothing to do with FanCon, but hope that those who are suffering from the loss related to that are able to recoup some of their costs if not more.

Today is my last day as being a writer for BGN. I'm so sorry that people were blindsided (including myself) and I gave a lot of my time and ideas to this organization. I'm going to continue my 2018 goals, to lift up black woman and to support other marginalized communities.

It was with a heavy heart that I left Black Girl Nerds yesterday. After I resigned and then let fellow staffers know, I needed some time to process. THANK YOU to @ConStar24 @LadyKayB21 @jumpedforjoi @Maria_Giesela @WildYoungCharm @ladykyndal @LaJoliePoeta for helping me process
