It just seems weird that we hear reliable rumors about a new game, that seems to use mechanics and story beats that could easily be conveyed as similar to WoC, and then hear about a WoC "remaster". Remember that Activision mentioned "reimaginings" in their earnings call?
What if a project began life as "Remaster WoC" and turned into "Ratchet and Clank 2016ing the good ideas from WoC"? You'd likely still have people walking around Activision calling it the WoC remaster even though it's likely to have new mechanics, levels, story, etc.
