Re: Crash Mobile Game King ran ads that were focused on Brazil (Brazil and other parts of South America are popular for regional testing with King/other mobile games) and ran on Facebook in the Holiday season. They were just called "Crash Bandicoot Mobile". (1/4)
They featured characters from the NST box art but at higher quality and missing FX that come from final compositing of the box art, meaning they had access to source files. The link lead to a survey form that simply asked why you clicked on it and said the game wasnt ready. (2/4)
Google ID'd the survey as being generated from inside King via a verified business account. It was genuine. But it was also clearly super early and they were probably still figuring out what the game will be. (3/4)
It could also just have been to gauge interest and not a greenlit game. It might not even make it to production... ...But come on now. It's one of their biggest IP. I suspect it'll come along with whatever console game is next for Crash. (4/4)
