Not everyone here at Columbine will be walking out. Caleb Conrad, 16, will stay in class. "People say it’s all about gun control, it’s all about: We should ban guns. But that’s not the real issue here. The real issue is the people who are doing it.”

Caleb Conrad sounds like an independent thinker. Good on you, Caleb. I still have the Columbine pin all JeffCo seniors recieved that year. My husband & I remember that day. Some of our friends were killed. If we were still in HS, we wouldn't take part in that protest either.

Poor guy. Doesn’t he realize it is Not about banning guns? It’s about banning assault weapons & Hi-cap magazines? Getting universal background checks? Hopefully he has friends who can have the discussion with him.

Your naive if you think that’s what it’s about. But what is an assault weapon? I’m all for background checks but your real issue is mental health and being able to detain for evaluation.
