Cost of Jail > $55. Seems like very bad policy.

Its a very good policy for their purpose. The fact that they would illogically hold ppl in jail for an amount way lower than the cost of incarceration is because the purposed is to raise the revenue of the jail & its vendors. More bodies more $$$ Thats how this slave system works

Surely once it’s cost more than $55 to have a person unnecessarily in jail that doesn’t make sense on any level?
-
If it's a private prison, they'll just charge fees to the user... which makes it next to impossible to escape if you're poor enough to miss a $55 bill.

How does that make any sense since it cost $$$$$$ to keep one prisoner weekly.

I was just unfairly incarcerated and know that the prison county jail system is corrupt and broken they do not meet basic requirements for mass detention. Conditions are chaotic and unsanitary they “lose” paperwork.
