4/It's important to note that we sent letters to the heads of several government hospitals and ministries, urging them to speak with us about the state of childbirth in Venezuela. None responded.

It is messed up how far down the line the government has let this go. I can still remember when our beaches and schools were full of Venezuelans. To think that Venezuela is sitting on so much oil wealth that it would take such a level of incompetence for its people to go hungry.
