As a recent transplant to CO, I really appreciated this. I'd love to see more coverage of the energy/extraction industry, esp. in the I-25 corridor.

A lot of the land in New Mexico is privately owned by John Malone & Ted Turner. Plenty of USFS lands for the public. Mr Turner is a good steward of the land. Sustainable water resources in New Mexico has always been controversial thus big subdivision is frowned upon

Funny timing. Two days ago I was running the Great Western trail outside Salt Lake City and there were big "Private Property: No Trespassing" signs on either side of the trail. I've been venting for days about how stupid it all felt.
