Indeed, for residents. But workers are at risk too. Perhaps you're already aware, CDC study on silicosis in workers on frack pads, they look at CO: https://blogs.cdc.gov/niosh-science-blog/2012/05/23/silica-fracking/ … Sure workers get 6 figure salaries, but are often contractors without insurance when real sickness strikes
