Folks like Gov. John Hickenlooper, a Democrat, worry about the economic fallout. Oil and gas brings in hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenue. They also say there is no science to show that the proposed rule protects health any more than the current one does.
As somebody who lives in Colorado this has been interesting. I've observed zero ads "for" the measure while the industry is saturating the airwaves with ads "against." They even got John Elway in the latest round. Both gubernatorial candidates are against.
It won’t pass and will fail on a HUGE margin. It’s too aggressive of a measure. Just my .02
