From Jacqueline: "I grew up in Weld County. Fracking technology has advanced to the point where fracking and horizontal drilling can turn one well pad into the equivalent of 10 older wells. Fracking means more oil with less wells and less piping and less chances for spills...
...Oil drilling also puts cash into the pockets of Colorado farmers who own most of the land the oil is under. These payments keep farmers afloat and allow them to compete with corporate farmers and foreign agribusiness."

...Putting children at risk of VOC inhalation and within a blast radius of possible explosions is immoral and antithetical to the mission of our schools."
