    We're heading into this winter Omicron wave without expanded unemployment benefits or any guarantee of paid sick leave. PPP is over. Rental assistance has stopped flowing in some states and there's no federal eviction moratorium. Basically, we're going in without a safety net.

    This makes no sense. Instead of raising taxes on the ultra rich, we are going to make students in debt pay to raise revenue. Awful on the substance and awful politics. We need to do better to deserve victory in 2022.

    This merits a criminal investigation and a giant civil suit, absolutely despicable. Unionize Amazon now.

    Horrifying details are emerging about the tornado disaster at Amazon's warehouse in Illinois, where at least 6 workers were killed on the job. Before he died, Larry Virden reportedly texted his girlfriend: "Amazon won’t let us leave." He leaves behind four children.

    A must read. Many of the low wage vulnerable workers heading to Kentucky to clean up and rebuild in the coming months will risk their health and sometimes lives, and then potentially not get paid by the shady companies stealing their wages.

    I’m all in to help our Kentucky neighbors. But just last month voted against the Infrastructure Bill that provides $1.2T to tackle the climate crisis & $6.8B to FEMA to for communities hit by natural disasters. Kentuckians will get those critical benefits despite Paul.

    Our hearts are broken for all those suffering from last night’s terrible storms . I and my team will do all we can to assist local and state officials as they lead the immediate response, and will aggressively help families, businesses, and officials access recovery resources.

    Kelloggs is trying to replace 1400 striking workers. Millennials & Gen Z flooded the jobs postings with fake applications and crashed the system. This is what solidary looks like.
