Could someone remind @POTUS that he was the one who signed legislation making it EASIER for the mentally ill to keep/get guns.
"There’s nobody that loves the 2nd Amendment more than I do," Trump says, or respects NRA more, "but we really do have to strengthen up, really strengthen up background checks" & bar mentally ill from getting weapons (NRA backs both)

Wrong -- NRA doesn't back both. They love to complain that reporting into BC database is voluntary but do nothing to ensure accuracy. They def. don't want universal BCs b/c the gun show/private sale route is very lucrative for manufacturers, their truest member
