Rep. Green's impeachment resolution, as intro'd last night, has just 1 article referencing yesterday's vote to condemn Trump's tweets as racist. Says Trump has, "by his statements, brought the high office of the POTUS in contempt, ridicule, disgrace, & disrepute,..." 1/2
...has sown seeds of discord among the people of the U.S., has demonstrated that he is unfit to be president, & has betrayed his trust as POTUS to the manifest injury of the people of the U.S., & has committed a high misdemeanor in office." 2/2
Trump attacked elected members of congress in a way that would get most folks immediately fired from their jobs and violates US Equal Emp Opp guidelines. We lose perspective on Trump due to the severity of his other offenses.

While I find Trump’s racism repugnant and disgusting, it’s not a high crime or misdemeanor under the constitution @RepAlGreen. In this case elections have consequences and this was a known characteristic by those who voted for him. Dems need to do better to get elected!
