#bothsides journalism here that prides looking neutral above accurate reporting. Can’t compare the two. Also, only one of them is acting in bad faith during this shutdown. -
Not to belabor the point but takes like this actually hurt the ability of the public to understand what is happening. You call the bills “House passed” w/o acknowledging the Senate passed the same measures b4 the shutdown and McConnell was pushing for CRs while both sides talk.

The GOP won’t work in good faith with Democrats, period. It’s been obvious since Pres Obama’s first term. McConnell and Ryan acted as Trump agents for 2 years, then the Dems delivered a midterm beatdown. GOP needs to accept reality. Their looting of the govt is over.
