It was a good political move; talking points. Dems won’t sign on so he risks nothing from his base. The objective is to “look” reasonable yet he still falls short because reasonable people can agree that NO party should benefit from holding workers hostage for LEGISLATION. .

Exactly. He cannot negotiate. At all. I doubt he ever could. Just another of his lies. Look at his failed casinos. University. Steaks. And the number of lawsuits filed against him. Great negotiators don’t need to go defend themselves in court.
