Media is overhyping b/c they live by speculative controversy. Is it shocking there are a few people who wld like to be Speaker, out of 230+ people? There’s abt 210 who haven’t said a peep b/c Pelosi is a foregone conclusion. Media: “Until it’s official, let’s pretend otherwise.”

Telling that other than the writer's description of House D leadership as "calcified," there is no reason reported to dump Pelosi. The story quotes only Spanberger saying vaguely she wants "a new messenger for change, and who will work toward bipartisan policies.”

So we have just a bunch of Ds elected from GOP-leaning districts who campaigned supporting Republican vilification of Pelosi, who passed Obamacare, brushed back efforts to destroy Medicare and Social Security and kept her party from panicking under Tea Party and Trump insanity.

Take a letter. Nancy Pelosi's prodigious efficacy as Speaker and her legislative acumen cannot be fudged. House Democrats need to stop projecting their "Mommy issues" onto their MOST effective legislator. You don't make a wallflower of the one who brought you to the damn dance.

She’s been villainized. Voters hate her without knowing WHY they hate her. The newly elected have promised the independents who voted for them that they would NOT vote for Nancy Pelosi.

I don’t understand those who don’t grasp the power of experience and wisdom. New is vital, but not here and not now. There is no one out there who is ready to step into her shoes. And the next election is HUGE!
